ScaleCorrecttm
ScaleCorrect was developed by Arie
Vandenberg, CEO of Vandenberg Media Inc. Why is it special?
ScaleCorrect automatically detects and corrects scaled images so they
look better.
Eliminate the "Jaggies"
What
are "Jaggies"? We've all seen them in webpages and email. They are the
appearance of jaggy edges of an image that look more like a saw blade instead
of a smooth line. This occurs when an image is forced to display at a
certain size which is either smaller or larger than the original size.
Why would you want to scale an image? Maybe it doesn't fit the layout of a web or email document. In most WYSIWYG editors, all you need to do is drag the corner of an image to change the size. This is what is called "virtual scaling".
Save time and look more professional
If
you have clients who are not adept at using programs like Photoshop,
ScaleCorrect is the perfect solution because it takes care of image
resizing automatically.
Even if you did resize an image manually to fit your layout, the problem is that if you tweak the layout you may have to resize the image multiple times! ScaleCorrect eliminates this issue by automatically resizing your images to whatever size you scale them at.
This can be an incredible time saver and will help ensure that your html documents look as professional as possible with a minimum of fuss.
Works in any PHP environment
ScaleCorrect works in virtually any PHP environment and with any WYSIWYG editor used to create webpages or emails. If you or your clients create documents online that include images, then ScaleCorrect is for you.
Resizing an image virtually

In most WYSIWYG editors, if you need to resize an image, you can just
click and drag the corner of an image to change the display size.
Virtually scaled image with jaggies

Now the image is sized the way you want it but there's one problem - it
looks bad. This is because you are forcing it to display at a
non-native size.
ScaleCorrect to the rescue!

When you save your document, ScaleCorrect automatically senses images
that are virtually scaled and corrects the image so it displays
properly at the new size.
